Police recover 1,700 stolen voter cards for 2015 election

Police in Badagry recovered the over 1,700 voter cards from a bush.     The recovered voter cards have been handed over to INEC

The Lagos State Police Command on Sunday, November 16, recovered not less than 1,700 stolen voter cards.
Punch reports that men of the police attached to the Area K Command, Morogbo, recovered the voter cards believed to have been hidden by unknown persons inside a bush in the Seme, Badagry suburb of Lagos.
The police believe that the cards were stolen from staffs of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area of Lagos State. According to the police, the recovered Voter Cards have been handed over to the Lagos State INEC.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu,  has however revealed that no suspect has been caught because the cards where discovered at an abandoned location
